US Sailors Continue Tradition of Service at Korean Orphanage

A group of US Navy service members recently visited an orphanage on Geoje Island, off the southern coast of South Korea. American naval personnel have been regularly visiting the orphanage for over 60 years.

Joint US-Japan Satellite Launches Latest Chapter of Space Cooperation

Just before dawn on February 28, NASA and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) successfully launched a jointly developed scientific satellite, with officials from both agencies and the United States Ambassador to Japan, Caroline Kennedy in attendance.
Reaching the end of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia, Team USA finished second in total medals. Among this group of elite athletes, various Asian American athletes represented the United States and finished with commendable results.
